The Association of Analytic Metaphysics in the Italian-Speaking World (AMAMI) welcomes applications for membership.
AMAMI is a non-profit academic association established under Italian law, devoted to the promotion of analytic metaphysics within the Italian-speaking philosophical community across the globe. The association pursues academic, scientific, and cultural aims through the promotion of research, education, and scholarly exchange in analytic metaphysics, broadly construed.
The association is open to all individuals who share its aims and spirit and have an interest in analytic metaphysics. Membership is compatible with membership in other associations or scientific societies and is granted without discrimination on grounds of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, culture, political views, or religion.
Membership entitles members to participate in the scientific and institutional activities promoted by the association, including conferences, workshops, and scholarly meetings. Participation in activities co-organized with other institutions may be subject to additional requirements determined by those institutions. Members are entitled to attend the General Assembly of the association and exercise full voting rights.

Membership categories and fees
AMAMI offers the following categories of membership:
– Tenured and tenure-track faculty: €50
– Other faculty, postdocs and PhD students: €25
– BA/MA students and independent scholars: €10
Membership is valid for one calendar year (January-December) and is renewable.
Admission procedure
Applications are reviewed and decided upon by the Executive Board (Comitato Direttivo). Decisions of the Executive Board concerning admission are final.
Upon approval, applicants are required to pay the applicable annual membership fee within 30 days.
Membership is lost in the following cases:
- failure to pay the membership fee for one calendar year;
- serious conduct contrary to the aims or spirit of the association;
- explicit request by the member.
Submission of an application implies acceptance of the statutes, internal regulations, and resolutions of the association.
